Plot Summary
The School Fight Begins: Tensions between Cobra Kai and Miyagi-Do finally boil over. On the first day of school, Tory calls out Sam over the PA system, taunting her and threatening that she’ll make her “pay” for kissing Miguel. This sparks a massive, chaotic fight across the entire school.
The Brawl:
Sam vs. Tory: They clash brutally, with Tory fighting aggressively using spiked jewelry, while Sam uses her Miyagi-Do training to defend herself.
Miguel vs. Hawk: Former friends go head-to-head, their fight showing just how far Hawk has embraced Kreese’s ruthless teachings.
Robby vs. Miguel: Their rivalry reaches its peak. Miguel initially gains the upper hand but remembers Johnny’s teaching about showing mercy — so he spares Robby.
The Tragedy: Robby, still full of anger, doesn’t accept Miguel’s mercy. He strikes back with a powerful kick, sending Miguel crashing over a school balcony. Miguel falls hard onto the stair railing below, leaving him critically injured and unconscious. The fight stops in shock as teachers rush in.
The Fallout:
Johnny rushes to the hospital, devastated by Miguel’s condition. Carmen is furious with him, blaming Cobra Kai for leading Miguel down this path.
At Cobra Kai’s dojo, Johnny discovers that Kreese has taken over while he was gone. The students now look to Kreese as their sensei, fully embracing “no mercy.”
Alone, broken, and drinking on the beach, Johnny throws his phone away. We then see a notification on his abandoned phone: a Facebook friend request from Ali Mills (his high school girlfriend and Daniel’s old flame).
This finale completely reshapes the show: Miguel’s fate is uncertain, Johnny loses both his dojo and Carmen’s trust, and Kreese rises as the true villain.
