Cobra Kai Season 2 Episode 9

Plot Summary

  • Dinner Meeting: Amanda suggests a peace offering between the dojos, and Daniel reluctantly agrees. They arrange a dinner with Johnny and Carmen at a Mexican restaurant. Things start awkwardly but gradually ease into laughter and surprising moments of understanding between Johnny and Daniel. For the first time, it looks like they might actually get along.

  • Kreese’s Influence: While Johnny is trying to build peace, Kreese works behind the scenes to harden Cobra Kai. He teaches the students more ruthless tactics, stressing the “no mercy” philosophy. Hawk and Tory eat it up, while Miguel grows conflicted.

  • Teen Rivalries: At the same time, the younger generation is caught in their own mess:

    • Sam and Robby are growing closer.

    • Miguel still has feelings for Sam, but he’s with Tory, creating jealousy.

    • Tory’s hostility toward Sam escalates, especially after she suspects Miguel still cares for her.

  • The Setup for the Finale: Despite Johnny and Daniel showing signs of reconciliation, the Cobra Kai vs. Miyagi-Do rivalry is too far gone. With emotions flaring among the teens, it’s clear a massive showdown is inevitable.
