Kung Fu Panda 3 : DreamWorks Animation, China Film Group Corporation, Oriental DreamWorks, and Zhong Ming You Ying Film created the 2016 animated martial arts comedy Kung Fu Panda 3, which was formerly distributed by 20th Century Fox[a]. It is the follow-up to Kung Fu Panda 2 (2011) and the third entry in the Kung Fu Panda series. Alessandro Carloni and Jennifer Yuh Nelson directed the movie, while Jonathan Aibel and Glenn Berger wrote the screenplay.

Jack Black, Dustin Hoffman, Jean-Claude Van Damme, Lucy Liu, Angelina Jolie, Seth Rogen, David Cross, Jackie Chan, James Hong, and Randall Duk Kim all return from their prior roles, while Liam Knight plays a different part as Oogway from the first movie. J. K. Simmons, Kate Hudson, and Bryan Cranston (who replaced Fred Tatasciore, who later voiced Master Bear) join them as new characters. In the movie, Po meets up with his biological father and learns about a hidden Panda Village. However, he has to quickly learn how to control chi and get the pandas ready to battle General Kai, a spirit warrior who wants to ruin Master Oogway's heritage. The movie pays homage to the memories.
Kung Fu Panda 3 Plot
Teacher Oogway battles General Kai, a spirit bull who has taken the chi from every other kung fu teacher who has passed away, in the Spirit Realm. Oogway warns Kai that someone is going to stop him before he steals his chi. After returning to the Mortal Realm with the stolen chi, Kai is furious to discover that he has been erased from history.
Master Shifu picks Po as his successor and declares his retirement from teaching in the interim. Po's initial teaching attempts unintentionally hurt Shifu and the Furious Five.
Po and the Five protect the Valley of Peace from Kai's jade zombies, who are the remnants of the kung fu masters whose chi was stolen, after presenting Li to Shifu and the Five. The gang finds out that Oogway and Kai were previously brothers-in-arms and that after Oogway was wounded in combat, Kai saved his life by escorting him to a hidden panda community. Oogway was forced to exile Kai to the Spirit Realm after he learnt to steal chi from people for his own benefit, despite the fact that the pandas had taught him to donate chi. As Shifu and the Five get ready to defend the Valley, Li offers to take Po to the village to learn chi so he can defeat Kai.
With the intention of destroying Oogway's heritage, Kai destroys the Jade Palace and transforms all surviving kung fu masters—including Shifu, Crane, Mantis, Monkey, and Viper into jade zombies by stealing their chi. Tigress manages to get away, finds Po, and informs him of what transpired. Li admits that he lied about understanding how to use chi out of fear of losing him again when Po insists that he teach him right away. Li's deception hurts Po, who rejects him and trains by himself to beat Kai. Mr. Ping tells Li that Po would pardon him and expresses sympathy for him.
