Naruto – Season 1, Episode 3 Title: Sasuke and Sakura: Friends or Foes? (Original Air Date: October 17, 2002 in Japan).

The episode picks up after Naruto, Sasuke, and Sakura are placed on the same three-person team under the guidance of Kakashi Hatake.

Team Assignments:Naruto is excited to finally be on a team but is crushed when he learns he’ll be working with his crush Sakura Haruno, who only has eyes for Sasuke Uchiha—and despises Naruto.
Rivalries Begin:Naruto and Sasuke immediately clash, sparking a humorous love–hate triangle.
The “Accidental Kiss”:In one of the series’ most famous comedic moments, Naruto accidentally kisses Sasuke during a classroom scuffle, infuriating both of them and delighting the other students.
First Impressions with Kakashi: Team 7 finally meets their new sensei, Kakashi, who arrives late and acts disinterested. He tells them they’ll have a “survival training” exercise the next day that’s far more dangerous than they expect.
