Cobra Kai | Season 2 Episode 7

Plot Summary


The episode begins with Daniel and Amanda worried about how much time Daniel is spending on Miyagi-Do, as it’s pulling him away from both his family and their car dealership. Amanda presses him to find balance, pointing out that Cobra Kai isn’t going anywhere.

At Miyagi-Do, Daniel tries to bring his students together through lessons of patience and defense, but tensions with Cobra Kai are always present.


Over at Cobra Kai, Kreese’s presence grows stronger. He continues pushing students toward aggression and intimidation, which clashes with Johnny’s attempts to instill discipline and honor. This divide becomes more noticeable:

  • Miguel struggles between Johnny’s teachings and Kreese’s influence.

  • Hawk embraces Kreese’s “no mercy” mindset even more.

  • Tory encourages Cobra Kai students to retaliate against Miyagi-Do.


Meanwhile, Johnny’s personal life takes an interesting turn: he goes on a date with Carmen (Miguel’s mom). Their connection deepens, and Johnny shows a softer, more thoughtful side.

The episode ends with tensions escalating between the two dojos, setting the stage for bigger conflicts.
