April O'Neil TMNT - A young human woman, who is sometimes depicted as a teenage girl, named April O'Neil has made notable appearances in nearly every iteration of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles film series, showcasing her integral role in the storyline. In most adaptations, April is typically recognized as the Ninja Turtles' first human ally, establishing a crucial bond with the titular characters. She is often portrayed as a dedicated news reporter, which not only highlights her career ambitions but also serves as a narrative device that allows her to uncover and report on the various adventures and misadventures of the Turtles. April O'Neil was a talented computer programmer and the helper of renowned but evil scientist Baxter Stockman in the original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles plotline from Mirage Comics. She assisted in programming his MOUSER robots, but she left his workshop when she learned that Baxter was using them to delve into bank vaults. She was pursued by robots into the sewer, where three of the Turtles quickly rescued her. Later, an MOUSER invasion was successfully repelled by the Turtles.
